BIO:
Maria here, ready to claim my spot in your home as heart! I am a loyal lady who is happiest by your side, rolling over for belly rubs. My foster describes me as very cuddly and inquisitive, and I must say I agree. My main question? How can I convince you I should be your best furry friend for life? Other than snuggling and belly rubs, I also enjoy walks (if you need an exercise buddy here I am!), playing with toys (especially stuffed toys and chewing on antlers!), and lounging on the couch with you (snuggling, of course!) I am dog friendly and cat friendly, though I would also be perfectly happy as your one and only pet since I like attention from my people more than anything else. I am house/potty trained and am working on crate training - I can be vocal when I first go in but am getting better at settling down to rest while you need to be away. Fetching Tails requires adopters to sign up their new dogs for training, and I look forward to learning with you by my side - it will be a great bonding experience and help me be the best Maria I can be! If you think I could be the right fit for you, I can't wait for you to fill out an adoption application so I can show you my belly for some high-quality rubs!
If you'd like to adopt this dog, please get started by filling out a complete application (incomplete submissions cannot be sent.) Please note that while we take time to learn as much as we can about each dog in our care as possible, our bios are written from current observations. Though we do our best to share as much information as possible about each dog we care for, we are unable to make any guarantees on the future health or temperament of your adopted dog. Most dogs in our care come with unknown pre-rescue history, and information pertaining to breed and age are often educated guesses.
