BIO:
Greetings from Bixley! My siblings and I have had a rough start in life-stuffed in a box and
dumped near an overcrowded shelter in Tunica, Mississippi. It was our lucky day when FTF stepped in to rescue us. One of my siblings has already been adopted (hooray!!!), and now Bree, Bronson, Binley, and I are hoping we'll soon be heading to our forever homes, too.
So a little bit about myself. I am a typical high-energy puppy who loves to be active when I am awake. I also adore being outside, going for walks, running zoomies around the yard and playing with my toys. I am friendly with everyone I meet, including kids and other dogs. I like to be close to my humans and cuddling in a lap when I am tired out is one of my favorite activities, but I am not super clingy and can entertain myself with toys when you need to do human things (did I mention yet how much I love squeaky toys?! LOVE them!) I've started to learn some basic commands and am looking forward to learning lots more when we attend training classes (a requirement for all young FTF pups). You'll be happy to know I'm making good progress with potty training and don't mind going in my crate overnight or when I'm left alone. A fenced yard to run around and play in would be great, but not essential.
That's about all I have to say for now-except that I can't wait to meet you and hope you feel the same. If so, please fill out an adoption application ASAP and let the good times begin!
Love and licks,
Bixley
Puppies are cute, cuddly and looking for a family to call their own. They need an owner who is home often, and willing to help with training, socializing and housebreaking. They need to be let out often so they can learn to go potty outside. Training is required, and we will need to see proof from adopters that puppies have been signed up for classes. They need an owner to be committed to them forever, and in return they will reward you with a lifetime of cuddles, kisses and love. Sound like a commitment you're ready to make? Please fill out an adoption application and Fetching Tails Foundation will be in touch soon!
If you'd like to adopt this dog, please get started by filling out a complete application (incomplete submissions cannot be sent.) Please note that while we take time to learn as much as we can about each dog in our care as possible, our bios are written from current observations. Though we do our best to share as much information as possible about each dog we care for, we are unable to make any guarantees on the future health or temperament of your adopted dog. Most dogs in our care come with unknown pre-rescue history, and information pertaining to breed and age are often educated guesses.
